Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born October 17 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films, as well as a couple of Malayalam. In 2018, she was awarded the National Film Award Best Actress Award for playing actress Savitri. Her other awards include the three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child performer during the 2000s, and later was back in films following her studies of fashion design. In 2013, she was the lead in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed on to participate in a variety of Tamil films simultaneously. Her debut film came in A. A. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. The film was not a success in the theater. To fit in larger projects, she was forced to pull out of films she had been working on for a while. These include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. She worked in two films that came out in quick succession, alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor on Prabhu's Thodari. The movie's release was postponed in 2015 and now is expected to take place after September of 2020. It will have a different title Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja was made in the year 2016 and featured in the role of actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay.
