Lauren Alaina was a fan favorite in America Idol's Season Ten list. Her appearance was unique and she's famous for her devotion to God. Lauren Alaina is from Rossville Georgia and was raised in that area. Her passion in singing after her cousin who was ill with a tumor on the brain, convinced Lauren that she should pursue singing. Scotty, who won American Idol in 2010, was a good friend to Lauren during her time in the competition. They shared their Christianity as well as their likability. Lauren was not upset the fact that Scotty had won, she was just happy that she lost to her friend. She kissed Scotty several times after that announcement to the proof of McLaina (a nickname given to Lauren and Scotty by their fans).
