April Ross

April Ross is one of only a few female beach volleyball athletes to capture medals at many Olympics. In Tokyo during the next few days she will attempt to claim her third Olympic medal with fellow the first-time Olympian Alix Klineman. In addition, Ross is aiming to capture the first Olympic gold. She also captured the 1999 Orange County Athlete of the year award for volleyball. Ross and Klineman might be working on a project in 2017, but Ross had already been a seasoned player at the beach before they joined forces. She has had the chance to win numerous tournaments, including one with an iconic volleyball player. From 2007 to 2013 she played by Jennifer Kessy, who is now her coach. Margie Ross did not get to see Ross reach beach volleyball's highest level. As of 2001, when Ross was a sophomore studying at USC her mother passed away due to breast cancer.
