Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded into fame in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Anything But a Numer. She was only 15 at that time, and the album was later renamed Gold. The collaboration that influenced R. Kelly's music, put her in the limelight. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland to record her follow-up album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If Your Girl Could Only Know. Aaliyah's second album called One in a million, was released in 1996. It contained the number-one smash single,"If Your Girl Only Knew. In 2000, she appeared in the romance and action film Romeo Must Die alongside martial artist Jet-Li. The acting career of her began in the mid 2000's, with a few roles on TV and films. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) In addition, she has appeared in important commercials of brands such as Volvo which is an international automobile maker. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter and will continue to pursue an acting career.
